For several weeks now the brand of the car of the town made public for the first time the update of the Volkswagen Golf. A restyling for half of its life cycle in this seventh generation that gives it a partially renewed exterior image without major changes, while the interior if it is shown much more technological and the height of its rivals that least time on the market .
On the other hand, the partial publication of prices for the German market has allowed us to know the mechanical range. Volkswagen did not comment on its diesel range during the presentation, but it did on the new petrol 1.5 TSI EVO, which at the moment does not appear in the price list for the German market. Thus, according to this first price list, the Volkswagen Golf will arrive with three levels of equipment, not counting the Golf Alltrack and GTI, and with powers from 110 to 150 hp. Later they will add more mechanical variants.
The Trendline finishing level, which is the most economical, comes standard with a 6.5-inch color infotainment system, LED backlight and LED daytime running lights. Air conditioning, Stop & Start and energy recovery in brakes come standard.
For its part, the Comfortline, which is an intermediate term, already integrates some of the new aids to driving, such as emergency braking in the city with pedestrian detection and frontal collision alert. In addition, you have to add 16-inch alloy wheels.
Regardless of the GTI, the Highline finish is the most equipped of the range. As standard, its headlights are fully LED, replacing the previous xenon that made up the predecessor Golf. Among other things, the wheels are alloy and 17 inches, in addition to integrating the automatic climate control, parking sensors and a more elegant exterior presence.
The starting price for the Volkswagen Golf in Trendline finish and the 1.0 TSI 110 hp engine will be 19,625 euros. The family body, which is called Variant, will cost 21,575, or 1,650 euros more. In addition, the TGI version starts at 24,175 euros. The Volkswagen Golf GTI starts at 29,975 euros. On the other hand, we have also known that the Volkswagen Golf Alltrack will be launched with 1.8 TSI 180 hp engine and DSG change for 33,650 euros.
Of the diesel range, we do not have prices at the moment, but we have been able to know that at the moment of the launch there will be versions 1.6 TDI 115 CV, and 2.0 TDI 150 HP.
